ANOTHER NEW SHOW: District 4-May 25th. NEW INFORMATION: The barrel racing will be held in the lower sand arena! We will be running an NBHA show at the Lindsay Rodeo. Our thanks goes to BJ and the Rawhide Rodeo for asking us to participate. I will be posting the show entry form shortly, but if anyone is interesting in participating in the actual Lindsay Rodeo part you will need to make your pre-entries with them. During the Can Am we met with new and returning show hosts . As that information becomes available, but confirmed right now is the Friday and Saturday of the Thanksgiving weekend. We are going to the Norfolk(Simcoe) fair. I will post the date on the District 1 show dates, and get the entry form up as soon as its available!

NBHA Green As Grass Rules

We are going to be using rules similar to the OBRA’s Rookie class for our Green as Grass. This way there will be no confusion when classes are run at co-sanctioned shows. There is only one change and it is highlighted in rule #3.

Eligibilty:

1.Cannot have shown in OBRA, NBHA or Rodeo in the last 2 years.

2.Cannot have made over $1,000.00 in a life time of barrel racing.

3.If a competitor runs within 1 second of the fastest time of a show at more than 3 shows before the finals in August., they will no longer be able to compete in the Green as Grass the next year.

NEW: Border rules now for temporary import of show horses.

Our freinds from the Sarnia border have let us know that there are new import rules for bringing horses over to show. Some people have been stopped, turned around or paid big prices to bring their horses over to show. I have found a broker that some friends use all the time, their website is http://www.farrow.com/ and if anyone else has a broker they use, please get in touch with me and I will post their information also. Below is the actual page sent to me from the US border website and as soon as I have that web address I will post it also. It is # 12 that pertains to show horses.
